Scatwell House provides an idyllic setting for the most important day of your life. This historic house nestled in the beautiful Strathconon Glen offers a secluded and exclusive venue catering for weddings of all sizes. 5 miles from Marybank, 10 minutes from Dingwall and 30 minutes from Inverness, it is easily accessible whilst offering the privacy and intimacy that you could hope for.
Small intimate weddings can be accommodated in the house where any one of the three reception rooms can be used. For example, the ceremony can be conducted in the bright and elegant drawing room with dinner being served in the splendour of the large but comfortable diningroom.
Larger marquee weddings can enjoy the magnificent grounds in one of two sites available. There is ample parking for your guests and buses can easily negotiate the electric gate and drive whilst taking in the beauty of the ancient trees. Your entire wedding party can enjoy the luxury and comfort that Scatwell House offers both before and after the wedding in the 9 king/double/twin en-suite rooms, sleeping 18 guests are available for your exclusive use. A new family room will be available by the end of the year adding another 4 to the accommodation.
A wide range of all the services you will need to make your special day special are available and we are happy to act as your wedding co-ordinator if required.
