Luxury self-catering accommodation is offered in this stunning, elegant house as follows:
Whole House (sleeping 14):
- 7 double / twin rooms
All rooms are superbly finished with tasteful antiques, wonderfully comfortably beds and soft fluffy towels for use in the en-suite bath/shower rooms.
Choose to relax in any of the 3 opulent public rooms all with either open fires or wood burning stoves – the diningroom has comfortable seating in front of the fire, whilst the piano room (complete with several music books) and drawing room offer the ultimate in tranquillity. For the more energetic, why not make your way to the billiard room for a friendly challenge match. There is a fully fitted, well equipped kitchen with breakfast seating for 10 or more. A separate utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Hunters' Lodge
This is a self-contained ‘wing’ that can be closed off from the rest of the house. It can be booked separately for smaller parties.
Hunters’ Lodge has its own access into a comfortable lounge with open fire; elegant dining room and fully fitted and equipped kitchen with convection cooker, fridge freezer, dish washer and washing machine.
Scatwell has bikes available and complete badminton kit for those wanting some daily exercise, whilst a croquet set is available for some more sedate sport on the lawn. There is plenty of reading material as well as board games to enjoy as you settle in for the evening.
